For the excursion to the Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers, the meeting point is at the EPA Dock (on some days it will be at the Fishermen's Dock; this will be confirmed the day before). Please note that you will NOT be picked up from your accommodation. Once you arrive at the meeting point, you will be taken to the pier where the excursion begins.
The navigation to the Balmaceda Glacier will take approximately 2 hours, continuing to the Serrano Glacier, where there is a dock that allows you to disembark and enjoy two walks. The first is an easy 5-minute walk to a viewpoint, followed by a second walk of about 20 minutes with low difficulty that takes you to another viewpoint. From there, you’ll be just 300 meters from the glacier, offering a truly extraordinary experience. After that, the journey continues to the Balmaceda Glacier, where you’ll have the chance to capture some memorable photos. Then, the return trip to Puerto Natales will begin. The tour includes whisky with millenary ice, tea or coffee, a snack, and entrance to Bernardo O’Higgins National Park.
This tour is a good complement for tourists who have little time and take one of these tours in Torres del Paine: Full Day Paine tour o Base Torres Hike o Miradores del Paine.
